Mediterranean × Japanese · New York
Chef Yuval Litmanovich crafts a Mediterranean Omakase paired with sake. Hospitality of the South, refined through the discipline of the East.
The Vision
My culinary vision is built on the foundation of Mediterranean hospitality, where everyone feels as welcomed as a member of my own family, treated with the respect of the Japanese concept of omotenashi, the highest form of welcome.
This hybrid vision sits at the center of my cooking: Mediterranean expertise and experience, refined through Japanese discipline. A delicate kakehashi, a bridge between two culinary philosophies.
“It came to me one night, while walking the Mediterranean cuisine wearing Japanese boots. It all made sense. The clean flavors, the vegetables, the olive oil, the sake, the love.” Yuval Litmanovich · Executive Chef
The Mediterranean Omakase
Over the past five years I perfected a Mediterranean Omakase paired with sake, a progression I developed myself, where each course is a deliberate step across the bridge between two worlds.
I refined it course by course over years in New York kitchens. The harmony of Mediterranean soul and Japanese precision is the through-line of everything I plate.
The highest form of welcome. Every guest received as family, anticipated, never rushed.
The bridge. Mediterranean expertise carried across to Japanese discipline, course by course.
The pursuit. A lifelong student chasing the ultimate expression of depth and flavor.
From Scratch
I'm constantly exploring Japanese techniques with Mediterranean ingredients while keeping it in the most simple form.
